ZeroClaw is an open-source personal AI assistant runtime distributed as a single Rust binary. It is built around local ownership: the user controls the agent, the machine it runs on, the workspace it can access, and the credentials used to connect to language models and external services.

The runtime supports many model providers, including hosted APIs and local systems such as Ollama, and can communicate through more than 30 channels including Discord, Telegram, Matrix, email, voice, webhooks, and the command line. Agents can act through shell commands, browser automation, HTTP requests, hardware integrations, and custom MCP servers, giving the system a broad set of ways to interact with the outside world.
