Vector is an open-source, high-performance observability data pipeline written in Rust. It collects logs and metrics from many sources, transforms and enriches them, and routes the resulting events to monitoring, analytics, storage, and streaming systems through a configurable pipeline.

The project provides a large catalog of sources, transforms, and sinks, allowing one Vector deployment to replace multiple specialized log shippers or data-forwarding agents.
