Opcode is an open-source desktop GUI and toolkit for Claude Code. Built with Tauri, it acts as a visual command center for developers who want to manage Claude Code projects and sessions without relying entirely on the terminal interface.

The application includes project and session browsing, session history and resume support, custom Claude Code agents, usage analytics, MCP server management, timeline and checkpoint features, and tools for managing CLAUDE.md configuration. It brings information that is normally spread across local Claude Code files and commands into one desktop interface.

Opcode is aimed at frequent Claude Code users who want better visibility and organization around AI-assisted development. It does not replace Claude Code itself; instead, it layers project management, agent configuration, analytics, and visual controls on top of the existing coding workflow.
