Cube Core is an open-source semantic layer for analytics applications, BI tools, embedded data products, and AI agents. It lets teams define metrics, dimensions, joins, and access rules once in code and then expose that shared business model through SQL, REST, and GraphQL APIs.

The project connects to a broad range of SQL databases, warehouses, and query engines, and includes a relational caching layer designed for low-latency, high-concurrency analytical queries. Because Cube Core is headless, it does not force a particular visualization interface; downstream dashboards, custom applications, and agents can all consume the same governed definitions.
